THE HEART BEHIND THE VISION / 4 MINUTES

Hear why
we're building.

Sam and Chasidy Galloway share the heart behind NCC and the invitation to help men and families find a new beginning.

Highlights from the September 20, 2026 presentation at First Christian Church in Kaufman, Texas.

01 / WHY WE EXIST

Restoration reaches
beyond one man.

Addiction and difficult life circumstances reach children, spouses, families, and entire communities. A new beginning can reach them, too.

NCC is being developed to walk alongside men transitioning from addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and other difficult circumstances. The vision brings residential structure, discipleship, mentoring, and practical life skills together in a healthy, Christ-centered community.

RecoveryTransitionAftercare

Our intended impact is lasting: recovery, restored relationships, readiness for work or education, financial responsibility, and growing independence. These are the outcomes we are building toward. NCC intends to track participation, phase completion, employment, housing stability, and continued mentorship.

02 / A PATHWAY TOWARD WHOLENESS

More than sobriety.
A life with purpose.

A planned 12-month journey with continued transition and aftercare support. Explore the five stages of the vision.

STAGE 01 / FOUNDATION

Begin with belonging.

The foundation of the vision is a safe, structured residential community rooted in Christ. Discipleship, mentoring, and healthy daily rhythms create space to begin rebuilding.

Residential structureDiscipleshipHealthy community

The planned program is approximately one year, with progression based on demonstrated growth and leadership review. Stage descriptions summarize the vision; admission requirements, stage durations, and an opening date have not been announced.

03 / FROM PROPERTY TO PURPOSE

Nearly five acres.
Room for restoration.

The 4.978-acre Canton property is secured, with existing electrical service and utility infrastructure. The vision begins with six men, with campus planning intended to support up to 20 as development allows.

CONCEPTUAL CAMPUS WALKTHROUGH / 7 MIN 40 SEC

Walk through the vision.

Explore the proposed campus and see how its spaces could support recovery, discipleship, and community.

This is a conceptual visualization of the long-term vision. It does not show a completed facility or construction-ready design.

How to read the campus vision

Renderings, room descriptions, floor plans, and walkthroughs communicate conceptual design intent. They are not construction-ready documents, approved permit drawings, engineering specifications, or a commitment to final room layouts, costs, capacity, or completion dates. Construction requires the appropriate professional design, engineering, approvals, and funding.

The basement was modeled off to the side because Home Design 3D could not create a subfloor; it is intended as a lower level, not a detached building. Model room totals and displayed land, loft, and overall areas are source data, not verified gross building areas. Final placement, capacity, accessibility, egress, and dimensions require professional development.

04 / WHERE WE ARE NOW

One faithful step
at a time.

Start small. Build responsibly. The September 20, 2026 presentation identifies Phase 2 as the current focus. No opening date has been announced. Existing utilities still require capacity and suitability review as engineering is finalized.

  1. 01

05 / BUILD WITH US

Help us lay
the foundation.

The overall capital campaign vision is $1,000,000. The immediate foundation fund focuses on the next tangible step: preparing the property and laying the foundation for the center.

Give to the foundation fund

Giving opens the Zeffy page linked in NCC's September presentation.

PHASE 2 / FOUNDATION FUND

Reported in the September 20, 2026 presentation. This is a dated snapshot, not a live fundraising total.

  1. Clear and prepare part of the land
  2. Equip the property for maintenance
  3. Pour the center's foundation

How the larger vision develops

01

Property & site development

Land debt, utilities, access, drainage, and preparation.

02

Residential & program facilities

Housing, kitchen, chapel, classrooms, and support spaces.

03

Furnishings, vehicles & equipment

Safe, functional spaces and reliable program operations.

04

Program launch & staffing

Resident services, training, insurance, and early operating needs.

05

Future tiny-home development

Extended stability and continued mentorship after the program.

These five investment areas follow the donor business plan and strategic overview. Detailed allocations will be refined as plans, bids, and launch requirements are confirmed. The future tiny-home community is part of the overall campaign vision, remains uncosted, and is separate from the immediate Phase 2 foundation fund.

06 / STEWARDSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY

A lasting ministry
takes a sound foundation.

Responsible development means matching each next step to the resources, people, and approvals it needs. Volunteer involvement, an operating model, property obligations, and ongoing accountability belong in that conversation.

Giving & organizational information

All donations and funding go to New Creation Center. Threshing Floor currently provides an administrative umbrella and receives no funds.

Property obligations and sustainability

The donor business plan records a June 2, 2026 property purchase for $178,000 and a five-year payoff goal. This is a stewardship goal, not a claim that the property is paid off. Recurring donors, church partnerships, grants, fundraising, and volunteer service are the planned support model. The business-plan packet includes draft operating benchmarks; final commitments require the underlying property agreement and an approved operating budget.

Preliminary construction & operating estimates

The business-plan packet records a rough shell quote of $123,516. It is one component of development, not a finished-facility price.

An adjusted comparable-project benchmark is approximately $634,000, or $729,000 with a 15% contingency, for a broader construction stage. These are early planning estimates, not contractor bids or a final all-in campus budget.

For an initial six-man program, the packet compares a lean operating benchmark of $158,400 per year with a fuller comparable-ministry model of $256,971 per year. These are separate planning models, not an approved NCC operating budget.

Review the assumptions in the packet
Milestones, capacity, and costs

Property secured is the completed milestone described in the presentation. Land preparation, foundation work, construction, and program launch are future work. The initial six-man cohort is a plan. Final costs, an opening date, and construction approvals have not been established by the materials linked here.
